Harty Receives Award for “Community & Environmental Leadership”

New Haven, CT – April 7, 2006– Harty Integrated Solutions received a certificate for “Community & Environmental Leadership.”

This award was given in recognition of leadership in business and community by participating in The United Illuminating Company’s Small Business Energy Advantage Program that is funded by the Connecticut Energy Efficiency Fund (CEEF.)

Harty invested $65,000 in a new high efficient lighting system for it’s 70,000 sq. ft. plant, warehouse and office in Fair Haven. With incentives from CEEF and a 20 % reduction in monthly usage, the pay back for this investment should be 18-24 months.
